“I was not born a murderer”

with Quan Huynh

On this episode, I’ve invited my friend, Quan Huynh, to share about his life sentence after murder and the fear, forgiveness and freedom he’s found on the journey.

While you may not be able to relate to the details of his exact experience, we all can resonate with his story at some level. Different person, different prison. This is a masterclass in vulnerability, one of the most captivating conversations to date and an interview that I’m especially proud to bring you along for today.

After spending twenty-two years in and out of correctional institutions, Quan was paroled from a life sentence in 2015, and created his first company 6 months later.

The following year, he received the Peace Fellowship Award for his work with the Alternatives to Violence Project.
